After two years work the Second Edition has been published. It was launched at the 2008 Port Fairy Folk Festival with a very successful concert (audience 1500) and at the National Folk Festival in Canberra over the Easter weekend. The New edition adds forty pages to the original collection with the new tunes that have been written for Lawson verse over the past 29 years. The new edition is priced at $35

Established under the auspices of the NSW Folk Federation, the Chris Kempster Project has organised concerts to raise funds to produce a double CD dedicated to Chris Kempster and his music. The project has organised two very successful concerts, one at the 2004 National Folk Festival and one at Sydney's New Theatre in May 2004. In September 2004 there was also a Chris Kempster Tribute Concert at the Illawarra Folk Festival. The Double CD 'The Songs of Chris Kempster' was launced on 17 April 2006 at the National Folk Festival.
