NEW YORK, July 17.-The
negro singer, Paul Robeson
today said that "We Com-
munists" would lead in the
struggle of the American peopls
for the rights they were losing.
Robeson said the negro
people also would be in the
forefront of the struggle.
"We are going to reach out
for some of this great land."
he said. "We have found a
weapon with which to fight.
This weapon originated with
a man named Marx."
Robeson declared that no
civil rights should be given to
enemies of the working class.
